Breathwork and Meditation Classes

Energizing Daily Dose

a Soma Breath® Workshop

The Energizing Daily Dose Workshop is an invigorating experience based on fitness, uplifting music, meditation and rhythmic breathing with prolonged breath holds.

We begin this session with a breath-coordinated cross body activation series to wake up the body, get the blood flowing, and begin ti engage both hemispheres of the brain.

We will then move into 5 minutes of chanting “aum”, the mother of all sounds, to boost nitric oxide levels in the body before we enter our meditative Breathwork experience.

The Breathwork consists of rhythmic breathing for several minutes followed by prolonged breath holds to improve Oxygen efficiency to facilitate deep healing and profound states of bliss, connection, and transcendence.

All may attend, as this session is beneficial for everyone. The breath holds should not be performed in some cases to be sure to view the contraindication list before signing up.

Density Reconstruction Meditation

A quantum visualization meditation by Wholesome Wellness and Breath

This session is created to allow you to go deep within yourself to release self-limiting beliefs and to repattern the way your energetic body expresses itself in space and time in this realm of existence.

Through this meditation, we seek to refine and reprogram our subjective pocket of energetic density (the “you”) to encourage the creation of a more enjoyable life full of joy, abundance, connection, and greater potential to serve both ourselves and the highest good for all. You will expand your Self through visualization and mental contact with your energy systems, down to your individual atoms; whereby you will enter the awareness of your molecules directly and begin to reorganize your human self in a way that facilitates your desired future.

The meditation will be paired with light breathwork to align your physical body to this desired Self by creating stabilizing coherence between the heart and mind to lock in the shift.

Before attending, it is important to understand the principles of quantum sciences that this meditation is based on. So let’s briefly consider what is happening both within us, and outside of us, as we interface with reality:

Everything in existence is made up of tiny particles of energy. When the energetic particles are not being experienced or perceived by an observer, they remain in a state of probability, a waveform with no defined position in either space or time. This was first discovered in 1801 when the double-slit experiment was first performed by Thomas Young at the Royal Institution, showing that light acts as a wave, remaining in a state of probability until it is observed. This incredible discovery revealed to us the Quantum nature of matter and existence that would go on to develop into new understandings about the interactions between ourselves and what we perceive as matter. Helping us to understand that reality is merely an intricate dance of these dense pockets of universal energy.

Now, our senses are the way our body receives feedback from existence and perpetuates the human experience. But take for example the concept of sound, and the perception of light. These do not exist on their own as we know them to be, sound is a collection of rapid pulses of air-pressure variations spreading out through a medium and light is an emission of Photons, or tiny packets of electromagnetic waves, consisting of electricity and magnetism (Lanza and Berman). Further, the perception of such feedback is not uniform across all life, there are different ranges that different lifeforms can experience, and the feedback is not always processed similarly across the board.

So if everything that is happening outside of us, is only happening WITHIN us, it is safe to say that negative experiences and suffering will alter the way we process and perceive the world and all of the energies around us that we interact with. By going deep within ourselves to rewire our energetic storages, and program the energetic particles that are fueling our human experience, we allow ourselves the opportunity to reprogram our energetic body exactly as we wish it to be and allow this vision to manifest into physical form.

Olivia first began studying and operating her life based on these principles almost 14 years ago, becoming both fascinated and deeply inspired by knowing that all matter is conscious and that this divine experience can be as beautiful or as tumultuous as you could imagine in every sense.

The science behind this does confirm the concept of intelligent design, but does not confirm or deny any specific religion; therefore this meditation is accessible to people from all walks of life.

The Body Scan

WWAB’s take on the traditional Body Scan, a Mind-Body Connective Visualization method developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn based on Buddhist teachings.

This meditation is designed to connect the mind directly to the body through visualization with guided direction. We will become present with the body at points of pain, tension, neuropathy, or dysregulation, and set intentions for these areas based on our own unique goals.

The practice of intention and visualization is heavily backed by science and has proven to facilitate incredible results. For example, visualizing yourself performing a physical movement to the best of your capability has been shown to stimulate and improve muscle tissue performance.

Studies suggest that “athletes are more successful when incorporating positive visualization into their training, showing that groups who used visualization demonstrated a 10-15 lb increase in weight moved during a lift than a control group who did not incorporate visualization” (Hynes & Turner, 2020)

These findings have fascinating implications, such as the mind’s capability to control the body on a cellular level to stimulate growth. This practice has been shown to work similarly during meditative visualization..

This mental exercise can reduce symptoms of chronic pain, neuropathic pain, menstrual cramps, headaches, and migraines; and assist in muscle, nerve, and wound repair.

Progressive Muscle Relaxation Meditation

Reducing Muscular Tension

Designed by Dr. Edmund Jacobson in the 1920s, Progressive Muscle Relaxation, or PMR, is “one of the simplest and easiest to learn techniques for relaxation” (va.gov/WHOLEHEALTHLIBRARY).

This strategy is a two-step relaxation practice that not only teaches an individual to locate tension in the body but also teaches one how to actively relax and dissipate tension through tensing and then relaxing the different muscle groups in a sequence.

Research suggests that this technique, in combination with other forms of relaxation training, can not only reduce stress levels but improve quality of life.

In fact, one study provides evidence of the effectiveness of PMR with deep breathing and guided imagery “for promoting both psychological and physiological states of relaxation and offering a head-to-head comparison of stress-reduction strategies” (Toussaint et al).

Other benefits may include relieving symptoms of anxiety, reducing work-related stress, regulating blood pressure, reducing the likelihood of seizures, improving sleep and overall quality of life, and more.
